Leah, a young lesbian, is drawn to the spiritual promises of the ultra-orthodox Hasidim. In order to join them, she hides her sexuality and accepts an arranged marriage. The couple lives in lockstep with the community until Leah’s eighth pregnancy when, convinced she won't survive, Leah has an abortion. That experience changes everything. Uncovered is presented in 9 scenes that take place throughout Leah's life.
